how do you guys stretch the tracks out so they fit so loosely. I dont want try any thing before asking every one, i dont want to break the tracks. thank you!
You can attempt to move the mounting points for either the idler wheel or drive sprocket inwards to give yourself some slack. Very warm tap water (not boiling) will make the tracks more pliable. Italeri is infamous for tightly fitting tracks.
Final option is to replace them with aftermarket tracks.
usually you have to buy aftermarket metal or resin tracks to get a good sag on them … although you can get a sag on rubberband tracks by wiring them down and using white glue or superglue to hold them down until it dries . They cannot be moved after however so you may want to weather them prior to doing this as it will be much easier and neater ! Good luck !

I’ve done a couple using pins inside the hull. Put the tracks on the tank, push down where you want the sag, make a mark on the outside of the hull. Then using a pin vise and small diameter drill bit, drill a hole (same size as the straight pin) through the side of the hull. Make a small bracket ( 1/4 by 1/4 and a triangle piece, square piece to hold pin and the triangle piece as a gusset for support of the square piece). Glue this inside the hull just below the hole. Insert the pin through the hole from the inside to hold the track down. Pin can be painted to match the track.
