Does anyone have pictures of German tanks on Ferrys being transported across rivers? Thank You!
Thats gonna fall into two types: 1) tanks using existing civilain ferries that are rated for the weight of the vehicle, 2) Engineer built improvised ferries where none existed before using pontoon rafts, etc.
Are you looking for either one in particular, or both?
I got two pics of german tanks on ferrys.In panzer colors 2 page 51. It shows a panzer 2 on a french river. In German tanks of ww2 by george forty ( amust have book ) theres a couple of pics in there. Sorry ,still trying to figure out way i cant pics[#dots]. Ill bet some one else has the books.

One particular type of ferry used by German forces was the “Siebel”. I have photos in a book of one being loaded with Tigers enroute to North Africa in Nov 1942. I am trying a web search of images but no luck so far.
