Well, we started this thread in the GB forum and per suggestions to keep it alive, I have restarted it here… A tank destroyer group build starting in May sometime. But the start date can be flexible if need be.

Any self-propelled tank destroyer, any nationality, any scale, any era. See what kind of interest we can draw…

Well, I have the Dragon Jagdtiger, Dragon Jagdpanzer IV/70(A) and Tamiya StuG III. I guess the question isn’t if I’ll join, but what I will build! Put me down for the for the 1/35th Dragon Jagdpanzer IV/70 (A) for now.

Rob… I was thinking to have it self propelled on a chassis…

in actuality, i know some TD’s were mounted, like the T-30 (I think that’s the name)… So I guess as long as it’s either SP or mounted on a halftrack or truck, it’s okay…

yeah, so i think mounted would be okay but a vehicle’s gotta be involved.

Put me down, but i am not sure what i want to do…maybe i will redo an M8 armored car to go with my first model to show progression over this year and a half since i started modeling(i think it is year and a half) not sure though…my LHS has a jagdpanther which has been there forever(dragons) but i don’t know if i should take it off their hands(although that is how i got my M32) I don’t like big old things-although with airbrush i could…
who knows

All I can say is this GB is right up my alley since i don’t like tanks much(to big no interior like small afv’s or TD’s)

Interesting build. May is a long way off, so I can’t commit to anything, but I’d like to get some Soviet AT gun, so we’ll see how it goes.

Put me down tentatively, I’ve got a major project going in the French Armor build. I’ll be doing an SU-85 if I get done with the B1 bis.

I’ll be using the venerable Tamiya Kit #35072 with Maquette late model indy link track, and resin gun mantlet, T-34 improvement kit and T-34 engine deck improvement kit, all from Tank Maker.
