How do you feel about adding tank or gun art to you models. I found that pictures of WWII tanks, airplanes, and guns had a lot of art from the soldiers who manned their weapons. I always enjoyed looking at this type of battlefield art. Should I add that to my models? Especially to the tanks, since I am just not beging to start building these great models. I look forward to your opinions.
Well, you can do that as long as the artworks look good and not overscaled.
I sometimes find smallest color pics to be made as 1:35 or 1:16 nude magazines
for my soldiers to read in their free times… 
It’s a good way to ‘individualize’ your model, but take care to keep the subject in its right ‘time frame’ and in its correct theatre of operation. Admitedly, few will notice such ‘mistakes’, but I like to think that I’m aiming at as much accuracy as possible. As put somewhere else, model making is history…
