I love it all. I think we should have as many models made as possible regardless of scale, nationality, genre, whatever.

In the end, who cares, really? Do we have such shallow lives that our main concern is if Tamiya is making 1/48 scale models? I can live to be 455 and not build all the 1/35 scale stuff that’s out there. When I do, I will move on to 1/48, or not.

My Granny used to say:

To each his own.

So everyone just needs to lighten up. Poor old Dwight, I believe is one of the kindest individuals on the planet and here we’ve even got him bummed out. And all over 1/48 vs 1/35 and if Tamiya has made bad business decisions or if DML is taking over or whatever.

I don’t come around here much any more, and I think there’s a reason.

as for me, I’m happy to see a new hetzer in any scale, I’ll definitely build one of those. for the others, Ive already got tigers, shermans and stugs coming out my ears in 35th. well, i have one of each, and thats plenty for now[:P]

Didnt some of us start out building 1/48 scale Aurora armor kits way back when? I personally liked them and wish I could get my hands on a MBT-70 after seeing how Brian spiced his up!

First tank kit I ever built was an Aurora JS-III. Loved it, man. Even today that tank’s look says “get out of my way.”
