Yes indeed, they took their 1/48 British light utility car which had previously been released and now are doing a 1/35 release. Hopefully they will do a few more of their 1/48 AFV kits in to 1/35 (Crusaders, M4A1)
I’m with you Stik, I’m so patiently waiting for a new Crusader. Seems like a natural since they have upsized some of their other 1/48’s.
Actually I believe that it is another downsized version of the master pattern. Typically the masters are much greater in size which allow the manufacturer to select the scale they desire…working down of course. I saw the new release of something a few years ago at a trade show, the master was 1:24 scale and the kit was going to be released in 1:48. So I’m guessing their masters might be 1:16 or 1:18. It would be interesting to see!
