Yep, I have #1 and #2… I like 'em. Go to a discount store in your area and get the disposable make up applicators (like Q Tips on steroids). They’re cheap and are the same as the applicator for the weathering powder. Also, if you have a significant other, see if she (hopefully) has some old makeup like fine powdered foundation in any earthy tones. Just make sure it doesn’t have any “shiny” stuff in it…

Tamiya’s old 1971 SdKfz 223 with some of the “snow” used on the lower hull, first attempt.

I’d heard that they were supposed to be abit greasy but went out and bought set A & C just to give them a try and I’m very pleased with them.

thanks i stoped by and bought a,b,and c since they had all three, and i picked up a weathering sponge brush, don’t know why when they come with one anyway, then i saw them on line for half the price knew i should have checked their site first. i’m going to try the snow on the instrument panel of my Me109 to see if it will work on the raised instruments instead of paint. i like the way your SdKfz 223 turned out not bad for your first attempt

I purchaed the sets via ebay from Hong Kong and they never arrive3d - i was bummed.
I then bought the Weathering Stick (snow) and tried it.
It works alright - its VERY white and it will be hard to match it to a diorama in my opinion.
On a model itself it looks fairly good tho.
