OMG if you scroll down it’s the 1/35 Stug III ausf B that will be released in DECEMBER!!! it’s no real news but darn finally got to see the mock up!!!

Nice Russian infantry set for the T-34 …

These kits are finally to be seen " in the flesh" at the Tokyo show this weekend. Hopefully someone will be able to get some pics. I’m particularly impressed with the M10… it looks menacing. Also, notice the PantherG display… two tanks shown, one with the late mantlet… Tamiya has provided build options,… helps to explain the price increase. Thanks for the update, Frank.

Bandai also exhibits some of their 1/48 scale kits including Flak 18, Pz. II and both Valentine and Matilda as well as the Sd.Kfz. 7.

The Ruskie riders look cool. I like the two 1/35 german soldiers on the bicycles.

I’m not sure about the change in scale. I mostly model armor in 1/35 and aircraft in 1/72. 1/48 is not my scale. At least not yet.

I like the M4A1. I find the A1 seems a little under-represented sometimes. I wish they did it in 1/35 as well (hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge)

Hello SteelSnail and RidleUSMC! You can build in more than one scale. If you’ve modeled long enough to appreciate excellent fit of parts, and accurate scale… you owe it to yourself to pick up a Tamiya quarterscale kit. Maybe their M4 Sherman, and see what a fine model you can build in just a weekend!
On the subject of a 1/35 M4A1… wait,… just wait,…Tamiya came through with the StuG IIIB for the 1/35 market ; there’s no reason to doubt they’ll do the same with this new cast hull Sherman. The fear Tamiya has dumped the scale they brought into the modeling world is groundless; they are a huge company, and will continue to market their usual one or two new 1/35 armor kits every year.

Anyone built the Hertzer yet?

Oh yes,… Goes together like a hand in glove (they all do). The only flaw noted is the tube; it’s just a tad short. It scales out on the button though, and I’m hoping Tamiya will follow with a PzKpfw 38(t), or a Marder variant next year.
