One of my favourite modern theatres of war was Vietnam, this is the Tamiya Sheridan that came out in the 80s. The gun was reworked and the light is scratched.

Again this model was completed a few years ago. Thanks and enjoy.[:)]

Nice job, but the kit came out in the early 70’s
That’s really nice. Now I REALLY want one
Oops, guess that`s when I got ahold of this puppy,I knew it came out somewhere around there, long long time ago, lol!
Outstanding! Now I am all itchy… want one want one ! ! ! !
Just a little FYI on the M551:
The first AFV in the US inventory to employ combustible cartridge case Ammunition.
152mm, HEAT, BEEHIVE TIME, WP etc.
The first AFV in the US inventory to employ a gun/launcher - (a shilleleigh missile could be fired from the tube as well as a conventional round).
Employed by the Armored CAV as a recon vehicle. Utilized in Germany. US,Korea, and in Vietnam to assault bunker complexes, convoy escort, etc.
Missile was infrared guided and “flown” into the target using the elevation and traverse controls in the gunners station, with commander over ride capability.

For all those wanting a Sheridan, wait for the Academy kit, hopefully it will be more accurate
Oh, I am waiting… oh yes I am…
Superb!

Thanks for all of your comments, and thanks to Crockett for the great info and yes do wait for the new rendering everyone, while this kit was highly anticipated and sought after it did have it`s problems! The next one should be much better.
