Good to see you back to work on this one. All of those little bits look great and will really add to the overall finish once in place. Like the cups.
Some lovely detail you are adding there Kenny. I didn’t know that about the ammo, i thought it came in clips. Nice to know that.

Well I did say I was slow!
I have posted this on another forum, but I find it helpfull to receive comments and advice from several people,Sooo.
I had a disaster when finishing, I used a flat varnish from a spray can and it went on all ‘spotty’, it also darkend the colours quite a bit[:'(], here it is.

I must agree with you on any panzer 4 variant about road wheels. I have to argue myself into building any of them because of the time involved with wheel construction.
Kenny, i think it looks great. I don’t think it is to dark. Nice work, now i want to build mine.
Wood, you should have seen the 1,000 road wheels GB a couple of years ago, it would have made your head spin.

So far every ones input has been very encouraging, especially as I thought the finish had ruined it.
I have yet to do a couple of figures as I like some form of animation.
Strangely enough there is not a lot on the market for for a 3.7cm compered to the 2cm, there is no crewe kit and I am modifying the 2cm crewe figures which will not fit this version of the 3.7cm but they do fit the ‘Wirblwind’ very well…cheers…Kenny
Nothing wrong with the paint job other than the crew thinned the paste to much with fuel and it ran a little, big deal it’s war my friend.[Y]

It may have been a long build but I’d say the end was well and truly worth it. Great looking model, and I agree with you on the complete lack of figures for the 37mm Flak unless you want a spare gun with the Tamiya set that has figures.
I see nothing wrong at all with that finish, real ones weren’t perfect either,
Nice job on this one, Kenny; sorry I missed the build. I read through it though, and you did some nice “extra” work with the embossed parts and the ammo bins, etc.
The only crit I would give–and it’s really an admitted “pet peeve” of mine–is to lighten your Dark Yellow out of the can, or at least do a second pass of lightened DY on the topmost parts of the model to give it some “scale light”. The DY looks a little too rich, for my taste–but that’s admittedly MY particular “thing”.
The camo came out fine. I think the model looks cool, and the weathering on the sides looks great.
