Here is my latest project the older model Tamiya Sd.kfz 222 parts are scratchbuilt and some are Eduard PE set.
Interior (Scratchbuilt back wall, floor plate and drivers seat and wheel and PE)
Exterior (PE and added bits, rebuilt front light mountings using copper wire and styrene)
Gun Assembly (PE added)
Wheel (Added Stem Guards) and Turret (PE added)

Ok as for the interior the grenade racks were on the right side not the left and were oriented with the grenades pointing warhead pointing down up down up down up. As for those square racks I have no clue what they are for? For all I know they could be 7.92mm ammo storage.

Well I’ve put some more time in at the bench on this project so I snapped off a few pics to throw onto here.
So here goes [:D]
Turret added the grill covers and PE inside as well as the antenna.
Next I worked on the body adding the fenders and PE, I also added the tie down pads and rings, as well as redoing the exhaust piping using solder.
Added the rain gutters and other scratch built goodies.
As always your comments good or otherwise are appreciated. [:D]

great work so far Thom, may i suggest replacing h e srpings with coiled solder or something to make them look more springy

Your build looks very good. The interior placement of equipment and lockers seen to vary as some reference pictures show. I did a similar build which will be featured in a future FSM article. I almost shelved mine when the Tristar one came out with the full interior and engine but decided to raid the spares box and my plastic sheet stock. Great job so far.[B]

James: I thought about doing that but of course after the fact of putting the suspension on [bnghead], and at this point I’ll just leave it as is.
plastickjunkie: I just put things in the interior that I saw in different pictures but in no certain order, and I hear you on the Tristar kit I thought the same thing after I saw it, I’ll keep an eye out for your article.
