Hey all,
Just to prove I haven’t been totally lazy, here’s a few pcts of the Tamiya Pz III J.
It’s pretty much OB.Stowage is half spare box stuff and half hand made.I’ve just been working bits and pieces on this and the Tamiya Marder III.Even though it’s a shelf queen it was a fun build.Gave me a chance to work on oil weathering with just a touch of pigments here and there.
I’m hoping to get more gumption and put out somemore builds.I guess summer just isn’t my time of year to sit at the bench for long periods of time.Anyway, thanks for looking.
Don’t worry about your model output, Stug61; if your builds come out this fine then its time well-spent!
This is really excellently done–I love the dusty finish, and the helmet on the TC gives a nice senes of battle-readiness! Love the stowage on the rear too–somethin you don’t see too often on panzer models; it looks pretty cool!
I like the sag in the kit tracks where they pass over the return rollers. Whatever method you used to achieve this effect is very well hidden. Nice work. [tup]
Always nice to see your work Andy. I love the dusty look also. the stowage on the back is really cool. Did you backdate the L? I thought the J had a vision port on the turret and escape hatch in the hull.
[#ditto] to all of the above. I must say the track sag is what really caught my eye. Great job. There’s a lot of talent on display there. Are you sure you’re from MEEEEECHIGAN? [:-^][:O][swg].
Well, even if that’s true, I’d still go [tup][tup][tup][tup].
Andy, great job man! I don’t get to see alot of your stuff… but when I do I’m happy. Very appealing subject and the figure definately adds some life to it! Well done on the weathering too brother!
