Tamiya P-47 Bubbletop decal help

I totally screwed up the decals on my P-47 and am looking for another set. I tried Tamiya but they are out of stock and told me to call back in 3 months. If anyone has a set they could part with, I’d gladly trade or pay for them.

Exactly which ones are you looking for?

I have some leftovers from both the bubbletop and razorback.

Thanks for the link gzt but I want to do the version with the checkerboard pattern on the cowl. So far I have not been able to locate an aftermarket decal set with it.

As I said in the PM, I have a brand new set on the way to you, as well as a left over sheet with extra checkerboards and other markings just in case, that way you won’t feel too much anxiety, because you will have a second chance. These Tamiya decals are a little thick, for these cowl checkers I would defintely recommend Solvaset rather than Micro -Sol / Set.

Thanks Steve. Actually it was the Micro Sol/Set that gave me the problems with the first set of decals that I ruined. They turned them so soft that when I tried to adjust positioning a little, the decals kept tearing. I’ll try the Solvaset on these.
