I purchased a pair and tested it, I was somewhat surpirsed they are made of latex-like material. I always thought the material should be cloth but special cloth that doesn’t shed lint. They should be fine I suppose.
You can also head over to a photo shop (a better stocked one) and they will probably sell cotton gloves used for handling negatives. I’ve got a few pair and they work really well. I also saw some at a local drug store.
