Tamiya Mk Vb Trop converted to Vc Trop...

Hi all,

I went back and made some changes on my 1/72 Tamiya Spitfire Mk Vc build to make the wing more accurate. I had already added the cannon stubs but I went back and sanded off the inboard wheel blisters and wing stiffeners as they were not found on the Mk V wing. The gun blister could be modified too but I left that alone on this build. No ADF radio was carried on these so I also got rid of the tail attachment point and did not add any radio wire. (Check WW2 photos and you’ll see what I mean). Its an odd looking bird with the tropical scoop and the US markings but I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed building it!
The a/c is that of the 307th Fighter Squadron, 31st Fighter Group in Sicily during the summer of 1943.
