Ok, I haven’t built too many Tamiya aircraft with camo schemes before now. At least not one that came with a scale views of the aircraft for masking. At the risk of sounding like an idiot, what are you supposed to do with it? Does one cut the patterns out of the views and tape them somehow to the aircraft? Or are you supoosed to use it as a pattern to create your own?
I use them as a pattern for making my own masks or as a visual aid if I’m Freehanding the camo.

I’ve seen some people use the mask itself… and cut it out and tape on, or a little above the surface and paint… never used one myself…
i tape a piece of transparency to the thing, then stick wide masking tape on top of the transparency. then i cut masks according to what i see thru the masking tape, and viola ! its a mask !
