Looks like Sprue Brothers still has the light dirt wash
I like everything about this build. That camo is just gorgeous!
Thank You very much M Brindos. To be honest I wasn’t sure how my freehand airbrushing was gonna turn out but I’m happy with the result.
For a kit that presented you with difficulties, you sure got even with the bugger and made it look really good. First rate model, thanks for the post and photos.

I’ve always had trouble with yellow or white finishes. I thought that if you weathered those colors right who would notice.[;)] You did a great job. Nice job on the photos too.

Thank you for your support It’s appreciated
Great job despite the difficulties you encountered. And yes, this is a straight Italeri kit, but maybe Tamiya decals? I have the Italeri boxing. I almost wondered if it’s an old Hasegawa mold when I saw it the first time, but really don’t know.
As for FLory washes, I’ve ordered them directly from him http://www.florymodels.co.uk/washes/
They came fast and I use them all the time. If you put them over a gloss coat, they’re great for panel lines, as the rest is just wiped off. Over a flat coat, you can stain the paint and get nice weathering effects with a little practice.

Thank you. They are not favorites of mine either. I found that by shooting those colors directly from the bottle…no thinning…I had better luck with them. When I thinned them I always seemed to get a very uneven coverage. Of course shooting them straight always plugs up my airbrush fast [:S]
Thanks Brandon I remember looking at the decal set. I don’t remember what they were but I know they weren’t Tamiya. They really oversized the box. I was surprised at how small the plane was compared to the box it came in
