I need help getting detail on the sherman. Plus i need to know if there is any detail missing on the model. I am new to armor because i mostly do planes.

I don’t have any specific links to give you for reference photos, but if you do a google search for Sherman, M4, M4A3 etc., you should be able to find good photos to check for detail. Hopefully somebody else will have some links for you.
Here is a nice place to get a template for making sheet styrene fill ins for the open area above the tracks. Tamiya left this open for some reason, but it should be enclosed.
