Tamiya help

I mentioned on the site that I was missing the nose landing gear bay on a newly purchased Me262 by Tamiya. It was simply not included in the kit. I see now how it would have happened. I went to the web site, and called them. They asked me to simply fax a copy of the first page of the instruction sheet and circle the part that was missing. I did exactly that and 6 days later, in the mail for free is the part. They have my business. Now what do I do about the part the cat dragged off my desk last night?

Talk to the vet? [}:)]

You are lucky. I have a 1/48 scale Hasagawa F-104C that has the rudder missing. Starting in June of this year, I wrote and e-mailed them several times. I still haven’t received the part. I could scratchbuild the part, but with the detail on it, it would be very hard to do.

Stay near the litter box? you know just in case he ate it? My cat, a 18lb tom, decided to play Adolph Galland on some of mine last month. Fortunately for me (and him) most of the damage was easy to fix. Am I the only person with a cat that is an ace? Do I have to give him a medal now?

My cat just likes to test wheels, I assume to make sure they are in full round. It took me nearly a month to find my Tiger’s idler pulley. Luckily, he’s not a plane fanatic.

Demono69,
Maybe he wants to play with the big kitties?

My cat did the same when i was in Japan, she dragged off the rt mlg strut off my F-5a i had to go to the BX and get a new kit just to replace it, luckily it was a cheap Testors kit so i didnt get too upset by it, now she dragged off the canopy from my Tamiya F-15 and i stepped on it while looking for it , that had me pretty PO’d. Check all the corners and listen at night for the cat to play with the part , i have found all but that one part that way . Rigo
