Tamiya F4U corsair experts, have a question for you

Hey gang,

I’m looking at some AM parts for the 1/48 Tammy F4U-1D. I came across the Aires resin gunbay set for the Tammy F4U-1 - does anyone know (or have an educated guess) if a -1 gunbay will fit in a -1D wing?

I posted this in my Corsair GB as well, but this place gets much more action than that thread does.

I would think so , same armament.

Should fit. Its the same plastic for the wings in the F4U-1 and F4U-2 (bridcage versions), F4U-1a and F4U-1d (blown canopy versions). If Tamiya made an F4U-4, they would probably use the same plastic for that one, too.
