First off welcome to the forum. You have come to the right place for some friendly advice. Are you new to modeling as well? That could help in what tips to give you.
I went to the hobby shop on Friday looking for the same model, but it was not in stock [:(]. I picked up the Tamiya Porsche 911 GT3 kit instead…awesome kit that I would recommend to everyone. I also just finished Tamiya’s Acura NSX last week which is also a great kit.
As with most Tamiya cars, a clean build and lots of detail painting will produce an outstanding model.
Just out of curiosity, What did you pay for the Enzo? I’ve seen it for around $45 in most shops, and about $10 cheaper on the internet.

lizardqing2: I would have to say yes. I have done a few models by trail and error. So the more tips the better.

Well you have already found the biggest tip, look around on here for a while and you’ll learn more than you thought could be done with plastic. Look around on these sites for some good stuff also. Trial and error is the main way to learn in this hobby, just remember the errors so you don’t try them again. If there is anything specific you want to know don’t be afraid to ask, somebody around here will know. Give these a try and see if they can help you out any.

Read the instructions(or just look at them if they are in Japanese) and try to see what would make it look a little better. Try to see what modifications you could do and plan ahead for them.

I read a build of this in a UK magazine (the Tamiya one). Actually I believe that the part count is less than 200 but then Tamiya always seem to have a way of producing a part that other model manufacturers would take half a dozen parts to make up. I think the sheer amount of detail for 1/24 can be a little daunting. Being a multipart body with opening panels makes the painting interesting. I can probably dig out that article, it may offer some useful advice.
I have one of these kits that should currently be making its way to me. I bougth off eBay and am not entirely sure where it will be coming from. It cost me £21.99 including postage (about $36). Not bad considering the UK price is I believe £29.99 (almost $50) and I know of nowhere local to where I live where I could buy it.
I will be interested to compare the unmade model with the Revell kit which I also have.
