I’ve heard of Tamiya enamels before, but have never seen them in a
Hobby shop or on the Internet for sale.
Is anyone familiar with them? If so, how well do they compare with
other modeling enamels? And if they’re really good, what are the
options for U.S. customers to purchase them?
I have used them, but I don’t like them as they come in teenie(10ml) horrible bottles like this:
IMO, they don’t offer the same cost performance as their acrylics too, good paints but will need a fair amount of thinning.
One of the reason why they are scarce might be because of import and shipping difficulties for flammable liquids.
