Tamiya Czech hedgehogs

Hi guys

Have any of you built the Tamiya 1/35 barricade set before? The one that comes with the Czech hedgehogs. I am having a heck of a time trying to figure out the triangle brackets and can’t seem for the life of me to get it. I built one so far and looks okay but am pretty sure I have them wrong. Would anybody have any tips ? I find the instructions on this kit not very helpful ( maybe it’s just me )

Is it me or the kits that are the most difficult go together easy and yet the easy ones cause headaches?

They assemble quite easily, I’ve built the set a few times. Look at this photo to see how the pyramid shaped pieces are used to reinforce the center point.
