Tamiya airbrush

Greetings everyone,

Does anyone know whether Iwata accessories are compatible with the Tamiya SF A/B?

Specifically, I already possess a paasche airhose and was hoping an Iwata adaptor would allow me to hook this up to the Tamiya A/B. I’m in Australia where parts/ accessories and airbrushes are a little harder to come by, thats why Im pursuing what may seem to be a convoluted setup.

Thanks
Jamie

The hose connection is the same on the Tamiya and the Iwata so you shouldn’t have a problem.

Thanks John,
I appreciate the reply, that’ll make things easier for me.

Just for “culture générale”, the same connection goes equally for Harder & Steenbek, Hansa, Holbein, Olympos, Rich and Richpen.

1 hose? omg!!!

Could it be that they are all manufactured in the same plant?
I think so. [:D] [;)]

I don’t think so for H&S and Hansa ( Hansa belongs to H&S ) as they are officially German made ( but who knows ? Not me at least ), but I believe that long ago Iwata was named Olympos Iwata, and it is obvious for Holbein and Richpen at least. I trhink Sparmax is another one ( but for one model which looks like a Badger 150 ) so what do you think of this labyrinth ? Do you know “The pretender” with Michael Weiss ( I think it’s the original title ) ? Doctor Raines is ruling The Airbrush Factory near The Center
