Tamiya 1/72 Vosper “Perkasa” - Re-pop?

Some on-line places are showing this kit as available.

Tamiya - Kit# 79001 1/72 Vosper Fast Patrol Boat
`Perkasa’ - w/4 torpedoes/crew, 2 color extrusion molding.

I thought this Tamiya kit was an old (motorized?) kit and this was probably a re-pop. But it says “2 color extrusion molding”. I thought that process was relatively new. Or am I mistaken?

Anyone know if this is a re-pop or updated or maybe new tooling?

James - I have the Vosper kit and the hull is molded red below the waterline and gray above.I’ve had the kit for at least twenty years and still haven’t finished it.
Was lookin’ at it the other day though, maybe it’s time has come!
