I have this kit and thought I might build it up for fun this weekend. How is it as a build? Are the decals and painting instructions accurate? Any recognized problem areas? Thanks in advance.
It’s classic Tamiya 'shake ‘n bake’.

but it’s no modelling challenge. The Trimaster/ Dragon/ Revell AG/ Italeri kit is better, more detailed, and more of a challenge. In the Italeri boxing, it’s also barely 1/3 the price.

Thanks for the links. I don’t get any added enjoyment out of a kit that is difficult to build, so I think I’ll just use the kit in the basement. [:)]
Youll Love the kit. It is vertually flawless and requires almost no bondo. I built my in less than a month. I personaly prefer more of a modeling challange. Have fun. Trevor.
It’s a great kit. The decals are only fair. Depending on the aircraft you choose, the painting guide is inaccurate. It’s been a while since I built one, but as I recall the guide called out RLM 74/75/76, which is pretty much dead wrong for most Swallows.
