Tamiya 1/48 Stuart

This was a fun build…I used the Plus Models Roadside Cross and Tamiya’s brick walls for the base…

Very nice little vignette. I love the M-3/M-5/M-8 Stuarts and should really get this kit but I’m afraid to go down that 1/48 armor "rabbit hole"because I have enough 1/35 armor kits to build.

Cool little dio. Those 1/48 armor kits are everywhere these days.

I am on my second 1/48 armor. PZIIIL (tamiya).
They are just fun to build.

There are still the occasional releases from Tamiya I’ll pick up whenever they come around.

I just got the new Stewart. Looking forward to building that.

Enjoy it…it was very straightforward and I had it all together in just about one day

Nice little dio. Those 1/48 armor kits a little too small for me. Its amazing to see what can be done in a small scale.

Very nice, thats got to be very tiny

This is a pretty nifty dio here Mike. I was never into the Stuarts until late but they are starting to grow on me a bit. Love what you did with the base in keeping things simple so as to concentrate mainly on the centerpiece which is the Stuart. Looks terrific ol’ buddy.

Thanks Joe!

Yeah I have come to realize a base of some sort is bare minimum…I have the new Miniart 1/35 interior kit to do at some point.

For anyone who is interested, on “Armorama” today I saw that Hauler has a new PE set for the Tamiya 1/48 M-5 Stuart.
