Was just about finished with this one when winter ended and I switched to other hobbies. Got inspired last night to finish it. This is my third aircraft kit as an adult, and I was pretty pleased with the result. Finished in Tamiya acrylics, blu tack used for camo, oil panel wash, Badger clear flat coat at the end. Not perfect, but would it ever be? WIP: http://cs.finescale.com/mobile/forums/thread.aspx?ThreadID=153149

Very nice!
The underside of those wings look great. Heck, the whole plane looks great.
She’s lookin’ pretty good to me. Now for the next project… Bob

Awesome!! That’s some top shelf work there. I love the panel lines and other surface details. How did you manage to get them all so crisp, clear and uniform without being overstated? Only thing I would add is exhaust stains and some gun powder scorching on wings behind guns.
Nice!!
Very nice Spitfire, turned out great! I love the finish you achieved on it.
Nothing wrong with those builds at all! Great stuff! Thanks for posting!

Howdy VT,
Pretty nice looking Spit if you ask me!! The over buld is clean and I like how the blue tape worked in regards to laying down the camo.
When using this particular tape, did you noticed any paint bleed once you removed the tape? I am not really familiar with the tape but after seeing your finished build, I may rethink it’s use.
Thank you for sharing!
Flaps up,
Mike
That is one good-looking Spitfire, VT. [Y]
I’d like to come get some decal lessons, among other things from you.
Edit: Man, that didn’t come out right. At all. [:|]
