My last build for 2025, Tamiya’s Tomcat inflight. OOB build with Furball decals. Unfortunately the canopy has a gap in closed position, so I had to add a plasticard shim to fix that. Otherwise a good kit. Happy New Year everyone

Did you try to use the Tamiya decals? I’m assuming they were too thick. I just picked up the 1/72 version and they looked maybe better than normal. I might see if furball has decals for the new Tamiya kit. Excellent work, the F14 looks amazing

I used Tamiya decals on the weapons, no problems. I used Furball decals on the aircraft as the set has all the stencil data, but if I built another one using the same set, I would use the Tamiya decals where required, yes they maybe a bit thicker than normal, but they still work.
