Tamiya 1/35 T-34/76 1942 Tracks

Hi
Everyone

I’m in the process of finishing Tamiya’s old T-34/76 1942 and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on manufactures for individual track links for this model? Also anyone out there used Archer decals I’m thinking about getting a set for this kit.

Thanks

For a cheap alternative, you can try to get a set of Maquette indy tracks, or post on a swap-board such as the one on www.missing-lynx.com and ask if anyone has an unused set of DML tracks.

You can order a set of WWII Productions T34 waffle pattern style track links from PDI Model Supplies in the UK. I bought a set for my T34/ 76, and they’re a nice set of tracks to work with, bein’ that they only snap-fit together, and are fully workable. They’re made from resin, so there is a bit of clean up needed. They’re quite strong too, bearin’ in mind they only snap-fit together, jus’ make sure you don’t file off the little lugs that will support the links! I paid £24.99 for mine from PDI. Here is a link to a review of WWII’s T-55 track links, obviously they’re different but the application and fit of each link is the same, as with all they’re sets; http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/ww2prod/ww2prod35008.htm hope this helps! Both Modeklkasten and Fruils make a set. About $30-40.
