Hi all, Great to have the Forums back up and be able to hang out with everyone. Here’s a model I finished recently, the new Tamiya Leopard 2A7V. Beautiful, as you would expect. I’ll have a full review up on the FSM website very soon!

I’ve always liked the Leopard tanks. I remember I built the early Tamiya Leopard 1A1 with it’s more rounded M48 lookalike turret. The kit was a little heavy due to it being a motorized kit. What I liked about the 1 version were that they had sloped armor, while the 2’s reverted to the old Tiger I mentality of straight up and downside armor. I think I will do another early Leopard 1A1 followed by either the 2A5 or 2A7 in the near future.
