Tamiya 1-25 scale Tiger I with interior (built report)( updated 08.07.2021)

Time to blow away dust !
I waited long time for this kit.PE grilles for Tiger motivate me to finnish my model.
Fited on without glue look like.

By the way it proves that grilles fit on to 1-24 RC Tiger I from Marui.

To see You soon !
[:)]

What is that turret number?

393 or 323 ?

Hello!

This tiger came from Muenchenberg Div. Berlin 1945

The number is 323 and based on original pics and colour schemes.

[:)]

[:D] Thank you.

That’s unusual, [%-)] I’ve never seen a two like that. [tup] Good catch.

Steve

Now I`m ready to continue.

Test kit is on my table.

Aber , really thank You !

Today to put some current pics from interior.

I hope you did not get a cold from the dust that settled on this relationship.

I decided to see how to fit new tracks Panzer Hobby Art to Tamiya model.

I started wrapping track through the idler to road wheel .

Here everything fits like a glove.

The problem started with the drive sprocket.

First Tamiya did a bad number of teeth, and that’s the beginning of the problems.

Therefore tamiya`s tracks are wrong too.

By the way, it turned out that over the production years of this model were released 2 different drive sprocket, what`s a pity, it was never correct.

When Michael drew a toothed ring , me at this time by Dremel grinder removed this nasty, defective toothed ring (is it correct english name?).

The first fitting the caterpillar to the rim.

Oryginal drive sprocket was to wide,.

I have had to reduce the distance between the rims

I glue front toothed ring and test with a track.

Next, rear rim glued and next test.

First test on the model.

Now, time to cast drive sprocket by resin. Since now, I can recommend tracks with the drive sprocket from Panzer Hobby Art to Tamiya model .

Hi !

I know it`s very long relation , but some news about new accessories added to my tiger.

Bosh lamps

It is good that you were able to fix the incorrect Tiger I sprocket teeth. [:O]

I like the Bosch head lights and Tiger I treads. [:D][Y]

Good work on that fabrication [Y] [I]

Thanks.Soon new resin drive sprocket will be avaiable and I dream about sturmtiger what is waiting me on the shelf.

Try to copy and paste the image code directly in between the quote symbols into the bracket code in BOLD above. No spacing.

Hi again!
Long time I wait for accessories to this model, but now is really progress.
I add resin german base antenna kit (available in my shop)
and connect with 2m metal antenna from Aber. It fits very good together.

Another rarity I’ve been waiting long time. Complete aluminum barrel to tiger I, together with PE brass rings and muzzle brake.

How do You find new accessories? I`m very happy.

Those are gorgeous!

Hello !
After veeery very long time.
I waited a long weeks, maybe month to get resin copies of my drive wheels, but now are available.
Short, pictorial step by step.

Hello!

Long time, unfortunatelly most pics are lost on FSM, but I have update on 1-25 Scale Armor Forum .

Today after few years next step, new accessories to 1-25 scale tiger model, useful to pape-card models and plastic.

The socket and arm of the tensioning mechanism are completely new 3d designed, and the idler wheel from the Tamiya model has been converted.

Have a fun

Welcome back

Yeah, welcome back! Good to see you still making progress on this!

Hi!
Nice to add something new to this old kitty.
It should be finish long time ago, but…
everyday i have sometning new.
Two days ago i receive 3d printed late muzzle brake.

Check and it fit to metal barrel by Aber.
Now with all my accessories (for example late commander cupola and steel road wheels) You can built mid, late or hybrid version of the tiger I.

As You can see, it`s not easy, and now conversion kit to sturmtiger appeared.

I second that! I love the Tiger series. How is this kit over all?
