Takom's 2025 M4A1 76w HVSS Sherman - Completed

Finished painting & weathering Takom’s M4A1 76w HVSS Sherman kit yesterday. Snapped a couple pictures. I have a new photo booth thing I’ve been trying out. It’s not perfect yet, but it’s been fun to play around with pictures of this kit.

There were a ton of parts in here, lots of detail and although frustrating at times, the kit looks amazing in the end. For weathering, I did a chipped/faded black camouflage, an oil pin wash, dry brush highlights, dirt and dust oil fading, washable dust effects and finally a couple of tones of pigments. This is in my opinion, the best Olive Drab weathering I’ve done so far. To be honest I feel like I’ve struggled weathering Olive Drab on every kit up to this point.

Only problem with the kit if you’re looking to build it is that the tracks are either tight, or the suspension needs to be totally glued in place. I left it workable and even after glueing in 1-2 pounds of fishing weights inside the tank, the suspension is still pulling up on the front & back wheels. Anyways here are some pics!
