Hello, building Revells, F/A 18E super hornet in 1/48, do I need to add weight to the nose of this model. Thanks

Does the instruction mention using weights? If not, there’s your answer. I’ve done Hornet kits or two and I know for a fact they’re not tail sitters.

I haven’t done their E but I’ve done plenty of Revell F/A-18C’s and had no problems. Is the nose cone a separate part like it is on the C model? If so, build up the rest leaving the cone off, see how it sits, and you can add weight if needed.

I’ve built their “E” model and it is not a tail sitter after its completed.

Fishing lead weights are cheap so I wouldn’t risk it but it seems people have experience saying you dont need it so.
