Hello fellow modelers! I am almost done with my second model, a Revell 1:48 Huey Hog (I know it’s not the best model and an older mold, but since I’m still new, I figured it would be a good practice model, plus, I was in the spirit of Apocalypse Now). I just need to add a clear gloss coat and the decals, and seal them in a matte coat, plus the side doors and ammo.
However, I have a slight problem: my Huey Hog is tail heavy and doesn’t stand like it should. Any ideas why, or suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!
Pop off the lower front bubble windows and glue a few pennies under the floorboards. This will weigh down the front and make it sit properly on its skids.

What’s also good is dropping a fishing line sinker in the avionics bay under the nose. But probably not going to work for you as its already together but for future reference
I use Daisy BB’s- (you’ll shoot your eye out, kid!!) They are small enough to conform to the shape of any compartment you pour them in, and once there in there, just pour a little CA glue on top of them. It will spread out and stick to most every BB, and once set, will never move again. Of course, you can only do this while the build is in progress.
