Tyndall AFB, here in my home town will get its first F-22 delivered this week. It is due to arrive Thursday. The public is invited to watch the arrival. I hope to get some good pictures.
I hope to see some good pictures after you take them. Beautiful bird, she is.

Any idea of a time? I’m a reired Bonehead (95FS) and live in PC. I’d love to get out there to see her come in. If I can’t make that maybe I’ll see her on her aproach,if it’s WtoE. Bob
Not sure of the time. My wife works at the 325TH Services Squadron and they were told the F-22 would arrive this Thursday. It is only eight-nine months late from its first anounced arrival date.
OBTW, in October, my wife startes her new job as the secretary to the 95th FS Commander. She got cought up in the last FIF.
Hey Berny,
I was just talking to a friend of mine whose the line chief at Pelican Aviation.
Said he was at Tyndall last week returning some air starters and they showed him the hanger where the F22 will be. He said the security is very tight, so if you could get some pictures we would love to see them. Good luck.
Later from Cajun Country,
Mike
The F-22 did not arrive today. No one knows why. I tried to find out some information on it and was told it was classified. Will keep you updated on when (if ever) it arrives.
i.e. It broke down… Running in problems? It would be disappointing if it end up on the back of a truck
…
I love the look of the F-22… Although to be honest, I prefer the more aggressive lines of the prototype. I also found the prototype´s colour scheme nicer looking than the ‘F-15’ scheme… But thats just me. Can´t wait to see one on the European show scene soon. You lot on the other side of the Atlantic get all the fun…
I guess when I see one pass over the house I’ll know they’re here. BTW Berny tell your wife she’s going to work with a great squadron. I still know afew of the guys I worked with are still there, Good people! Bob

If you live in the Parker or Callaway area you might see it if it lands on runway 31. If it uses 13 no one will see it. It will be over restricted air space on final let down.
I’m over in St Andrews,I get 'em headin in on 31. If I’m lucky the wind will be in my favor to see the Rator. Bob
Wow…
My Dad used to fly with the 325th.
He would be very excited to hear that they were still around and getting new hardware.
The F-22 arrived today. I wasn’t able to see the arrival as I spent most of the day at the hospital for the birth of our new grandson. You might say, I had a higher priority.
