This is the 1/48 scale ProModeler kit I built last winter, it is the last intact airplane I made before the photobase project began. All other modeling time has been spent towards the completion of the photobase. Because of demands of my job the scheduled completion date has been greatly delayed.

Very nice Moskito there, matrix, and your photo base is a brilliant idea. Nice shading and camo work, also. Those prop spinner spirals look great.

I have the 1/48 Revell/AG kit that’s been sitting around for too long, and now that I’ve seen yours, mine will be among the next couple of projects.

The Ta 154 was a great looking airplane and I have always wanted to build one, however the ProModeler kit was a bit of trouble to make because of the right wing had a severe downward warp in both top and bottom parts. This took some of the fun out of building this model and there were other fit problems besides the wing.
The spirals on the spinners were hand painted, I have read where many Luftwaffe aircraft spinners had the spiral hand painted by ground crews and I wanted to try and do that as well.

The model is OK, but those first two pictures suck! The model is too far away from the camera, thats some of the things I am learning about photographing my models, every time I take pictures I gain valuable experience.

This photobase project had a deadline of June 1 2004, but the last two weeks my time at work has been increased so much that any useful modeling time is almost completely wiped out, after this month my work hours should get back to normal which will allow me to finish my photobase.
