Has anyone found the Tamiya T55A cheaper than $50.00. I am tired of taking out home equity loans just for one model.

The LIST PRICE is only 3300 yen here in Japan. That’s about 28 bucks at current exchange rates.
Is this kit being distributed by Tamiya USA? And it’s still that expensive?

About the cheapest I’ve seen the Tamiya T-55 is at Hobbyland for $35.99.

I know Hobbylink Japan may have it cheaper, but shipping charges would bring it very close to what Hobbyland is selling it for. Would be interested to know if it’s being sold a lot cheaper anywhere else!
