T34 with new shots

I’d like to take this chance to post some updates on my trumpeter T34/76. I have sharpened up some older shots and added some new ones from the engine compartment, Batteries, and ammo bins. I want to thank Joe Bailham for all his help and support.

Thank You all, All comments welcome. IF YOU THINK ANYTHING IS WRONG PLEASE LET ME KNOW AS I WANT TO BE AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE, I’VE 10 MONTHS ON THIS.

This one shows the throttle cable running down the centre.

The left side with torsion bar stuff.

The right with batteries sitting roughly where they will be. The fuel cells missing were machined on a GRAVOGRAPH engraving machine, with the design done on a MAC.

The batteries with brackets 2 more done for other side. The box with beigee ends is the scavenger tank for the dry sump engine. Placed under engine.

The Gun in cradle, this shot shows the amount of filling needed. This shows the texturing.

This is just comming out great. So much detail. I certainly hope that you don’t close this puppy up, and keep it in separate assemblies to showcase all this crazy work when it’s finished.

In a short answer to Anthony14’s Question ,

  1. Not all detail shown is on the kit.
  2. I rekon I’ve used 200+ or- kit parts. I rekon I’ve had to scratchbuild about 400 parts without the 192 on the batteries.The batteries will take about another 100 parts.
  3. When scratching parts if all you build is one component it make take many small cuts of plastic to produce.
  4. Remember a home made rivet counts as a part in my book.

I now intend to post a shot by shot of the engine.

This is a fantastic kit, well worth the money as it is the perfect size to add extra detail. The kit detail in itself is second to none.
