I recently purchased a set of Fruilmodel tracks for my Trumpeter kit.
A friend told me(and after checking my kit,he is correct) the stock drive sprocket won’t work with the track set. Been checking a few sites(only 3,Sprue Brothers,Roll Models,Squadron), and haven’t found anything.
Any help would be much appreciated.
What’s the Friul stock number of the tracks you bought?

Surprising, unless you have the later T-62 that uses the T-72 type tracks… in which case you have the wrong Friuls.
I may be adding to my own confusion, but I should have also asked which T-62 kit.
The issue is that the T-62 tracks you bought (ATL-01) were designed for the over scaled and ancient Tamiya kit. They fit that kit’s sprocket and not the more accurate Trumpeter kit’s sprocket. Depending on the actual T-62 version you have, there are several different tracks that could work.
I don’t pretend to be an expert, but I do know that the later kit T-62 model 72 uses the later ATL-11 tracks for the T-72. I was doing some cursory research for the Trumpeter IT-1 missile tank (based on the T-62) and was trying to figure out the proper tracks to get for it. I haven’t bought any yet because I wasn’t quite sure which ones to get.
Its the Trumpeter T-62,1964.
Odd… ATL-01 fits my Tamiya T-55 sprockets nicely, and I’ve heard they also fit the Meng Achzarit also, which is T-55 parts.
I’ve seen several build articles of the Trump T-62s where the Friul ATL-01s were used without issue.
I’m out of ideas.
Can you describe the exact fit issue?
I will be taking a look later tonight/tomorrow.
But, when I last set a fruilmodel link next to the Trumpeter link, the teeth gap on the fruil part seemed to be set wider(space between the two rows of teeth on the drive gear,if looked at from direction of travel) than the Trumpeter’s spacing.
Thinking I may just need to add a spacer between the two halves.Gonna check that,plus any differences with the road wheels.

The spacing on the fruil tracks appears to be up to 2mm wider than the trumpeter set.
I confess, new to me, and I stayed in the Holiday Inn Express last night.
Looks like I’ll be makin spacers…
