I’m sure it’s out there somewhere but, with my limited time on the internet here in Iraq, I need to find information on corrections to the Tamiya T-62. Can anyone point me to some information about it?
Thanks

I’m not certain about this information but I recommend you check out www.missing-lynx.com or www.armorama.com A tweaks list might be available on those sites. Off the top of my head, the turret needs changed (either CMD or SP Designs) and of course the motorizing holes need to be filled. I’m working on a T-62 BDD so I’ll see what else I can find for you.
VLS produces an after market kit: new turret, barrel, engine compartment and other details. I have the kit and it pretty detailed to include cutting the hull to add the new engine compartment…
Best solution. Verlindens T62 update kit, and Tamiyas T55. Tamiyas T55 has many of the same parts as the T62 but they are molded sooo much better. If you are doing a current T62 then get Frieuls T 72 track because many of the T62’s have updated to the T72 track. Eduard also makes a PE set. I had to use all of the above parts to recreate a T62 that was brought back from Desert Storm. It looked great when done, but was a lot of work. As to what needs correcting; rear deck is incorrectly angled, turret base in the front of the turret needs putty work. There were many minor varients depending on what country used it. Best to get a good set of reference photos. Check out tanxhaven. Greg
