Hi all, just got a Tamiya 109e 4/7 and want to do something different with it, anyone maybe have color scheem of the Swiss AF ? the one with the red and whit bands?
Or for that matter other un-usual interesting colors?

The Squadron Me 109E Walk Around has some nice pics of some Swiss 1q09’s. According to that they were delivered in the standard splinter of RLM 65 underneath and 70/71 on top. In April 1940 this was changed to solid RLM 70 on top, this coincided with the introduction of the national insignia on the fuselage. Before that, it was just on the tail. So the paint scheme is not that unusual, just the markings.
There are at least 2 decal sets out there for swiss 109’s. And one kit with swiss markings.
Do a google image search for swiss 109’s.
I was bored so I did a little looking. I didn’t find anything really out of the ordinary, but here’s some E model schemes that I did find.

DoogsATX did a 109-G6 in Swiss AF colors a while back. Here’s a link to his build log:

Obviously it’s not a E-4/7, but should give you some ideas.
