Sweet 1/144 A6M2 Zero. Homemade base. Pilot figure courtesy of OzMod Models. Paints: Tamiya & Vallejo acrylics.
Oh wow!.. I love it. The details are great for that size. I have always appreciated the speed and agility of the A6M2 Zero. It had impressive top speed of 350 mph at nearly 20,000 feet.
Very cool dio!
1/144 ?!?!
Nice job - and a pilot as well…
Thank you! Sweet makes some very nice kits in 1/144.
Wow, that’s tiny! Very nice build.
Thank you! A magnification lamp helps on these builds!
That’s incredible that you achieved that much detail in 1/144 scale. Awesome job!
Thanks Tom. It was an enjoyable build.
Wow! Very nice job there!
At 1/144, that pilot would be around 1/2” tall? You did a great job on the guy
Outstanding work on the aircraft, base and …the pilot!!! WOW!! You most certainly put on a good show with this whole build Doug! Very impressive work.
And I think 144th jets are small. Fantastic finish
Thank you! Having a powerful magnification lamp helps!
Thank you! Painting 1/144 figures is a form of madness all unto itself!
Thank you! Painting 1/72 figures is tough. 1/144 figures: Hold my beer
Now THATS funny right there!!
Nice. That has to be tiny.
It is! Roughly a 3 inch wingspan.
