Last week I started working on the new Hawk/Lindberg kit of the Graf Zeppelin. On Friday I noticed there was one part missing and one damaged. I sent a message to customer service via the company’s web site. On Monday they contacted me and said the parts would be mailed out on Tuesday. I received them in today’s mail. This is the fastest service I have ever received from any model manufacturer. This is also how you build a good reputation with modelers like myself who has always enjoyed building their kits.

I second that, Gordon! I acquired an old LIndberg 1:12 scale car kit on EvilBay, sans directions. I took a shot that the new Lindberg might have the old company archives and would sell/give me a copy of the directions. They went way above and beyond in their attempt (unsuccessful) to help me. I did score a set from a FSM member on the Automotive forum, so I sent LIndberg a copy for their archives, in appreciation for their attempts to help. Wish more makeers were that customer oriented!
