I know there was one already but it seems to have died. The thing with this is, you’d be able to share this GB with another one. Makes life easier I think. So y’all can reply if you’re interested. we’ll figure out start and finish dates (or lack thereof) later. Basic ground rules would be that it actually has to be superdetailed, or majorly (not a word) modified. So I request that you don’t add 2 wires to the cockpit and call it superdetailed. AFV’s would be allowed as well of course.

I’ve got a few kits that I’d like to do a fair bit of detailing on, so if this build gets off the ground, I’ll be in. If you’re allowing conversions, I could enter the Academy F86-F Sabre converted to an Aussie CAC Avon Sabre (if I can get the conversion set). I haven’t done a big detail job for a while, so this could be fun…
Id deffinetly be interested. I am planning on doing alot of work to my italeri opel blitz. We need a general rule though, like, must have at least one pe set or a resin set or something. that way people dont just add the wires and call it detailed.
Of course. So I’m glad to see we have some interest already. I’ll post this on the other forums too to generate more interest just to make sure it’s definitely a go.
I’d be intrested in joining in on this, if I can use my own resin components for my builds. Either aircraft or AFV, as I have my Centurion Mk V/I Aussie Vietnam Era conversion for a Centurion III kit, or a couple of Birds.
I’ll be interested, I too tried to get the last one going, but like you said, died a prematrue death. Hope this one gets more interest. I would love do a cut-away airplane.
I’m interested. I have a few kits sitting in my stash that I would like to super detail. Not sure if I want to go the Aber insanity route…but I just might.
OK, ya know what, looks like we’re good to go. The dates shall be determined by common consensus. (The start date that is. with the superdetailing I’m disinclined to post an end date.)
I’m also interested. I’ve got a Trumpeter Mi-24 Hind with Cobra Company resin sets and an Eduard photoetched set. I’m also going to add some scratchbuilt stuff like hydralic lines for the landing gear. When’s the start date? I would like to get started pretty soon so that’s the only thing that might keep me out of this build.
I am fairly open on dates. All I have going now is the Cold War GB and I am at the 25% stage with it. After hunting season would help. That is until November 27. Otherwise I am ready to go!
