Hi All,
I have no idea what forum to go to, and even less about model planes. I want to get a subscription for my friend, and need to know what magazine runs the gamit from old to new mode;s, and perhaps plans, and high-quality articles. I have searched online and give up. I want it to be hard-copy, not electronic. Can anyone help me??? His 40th is next week, and I know the mag would be several weeks before delivery, but I would at least like to let me know which one he is getting.

For my two cents, Finescale Modeler is a great magazine. I’ve subscribed for 25 years. It does cover a wide variety of modeling interests with a tilt towards aircraft. The magazine is always colorful, informative, and entertaining. If you are looking for an aircraft only magazine format I believe there are some other magazines available. Since you already know of this forum, I’ll just tell you that the back and forth communication in this forum is as informative as it is addictive. I have thoroughly enjoyed the friends and information shared in my time connected here electronically. I think you will get a lot more input here over the next few days. The folks that frequent this forum are extremely helpful. Good luck. Rick.
