Silly question time -
Where can I get some 15mm (or preferably 13mm) inside diameter styrene tubing?
I live in the UK so that needs to be taken into consideration.

You want Evergreen plastic tubing. They have a contact email to see if they can tell you of a supplier close to your location. Many of the online hobby shops carry Evergreen so check your usual online shop in the UK.
Plastruct also has a line, you can check their website to see if a hobby shop carries it.
Basically look around for railroad modeling shops, they often carry this stuff too.
These sell ever green in the UK. I have ordered other stuff from them before and they are good to deal with.

Basically I’m trying to line a large hole I’ve made in the top of the rotor housing (to fit the rotor hub through) on the 1/72 HH-3E I’m building so it’s recessed like on the 1/72 Fujimi/Revell Sea King models.
Think I’m wasting my time with tubing though, because I found an old mini-torch I’ve got that is 15mm diameter on the outside and I used that as a former for some 10thou strips of plasticard and wrapped them round to make the tube I want. Also the largest Evergreen seem to do is 12.7mm (which if that’s not the ID that’s too small, and even if it is the ID it’s still a little too small).
It didn’t fit in the helicopter though because there are lumps and bumps in the way that I can’t file/grind away because I’ll probably end up going all the way through (they’re where details have been moulded on the outside).
I think what I’ll have to do is build up an interior so it’s like a box, with a ceiling, then attach the rotor hub pin to the ceiling of the interior (raised up using a small box probably) and then just put a strip of 10thou plasticard around the inside of the hole I made in the top of the fuselage that the rotor assembly now goes through.
