Does anyone know what month/year the hafthollowdung magnetic mine came out. I,m doing a diorama of assault pioniers storming a T34, early 1943. I was wondering if this piece of equip? equipment was issued yet? Thanks J.[:p]
The Hafthohlladung 3 was officially introduced on November 12, 1942. In 1942, 8500 were made, in 1943; 358,400 and in 1944; 187,000. A OKH memo of May 15th, 1944, ended production. This weapon was superseded by the more effective Panzerfaust, which had been in use since August of 1943.
