Well heres a couple of pics of my Hesegawa 1/32 Stuka. I preshaded the panel lines but tididnt come out the way i wanted it to but thats life.
Hey that looks pretty nice. I can tell where the preshading is in some places. Is that your first time? Looks like a good starting place to me. As you might have seen I started my first, too. It’s a really neat effect! The stuka’s looking good. You’re making me want one now!
Hay RadMax8 yes thats my first time preshading i downloaded those testers how too videos. And thanks.
Not bad for your first try. I prefer post shading personally, as I feel you have more control.
Regards, Rick
Smokin’, looks great so far, keep it up!
I know it is an optical illusion but the wing chord looks so much bigger from the underside.

What in the heck is it? And thanks you all for your kind comments.
Good looking Stuka. I think you got the preshading bang on. Be sure to post pics of the finished bird. Trevor M
The chord is the distance from the leading edge to the trailing edge. The Stuka has a big chord at the wing root anyway but in the shot from the unsideside, it just looks so much bigger than the one from the top… Must be the light color with dark background… really emphasizes the size of that wing.
Yep that is one honkin big wing actualy the hole kit is for a 1/32 scale.
Looks perfect to me!
Usually preshading is overdone, therefore in my book, better a little “under” then “over” [tup]
