This is the 1/32 Hasegawa kit and, I think, one of their best to date. The detail and fit is marvelous. Excellent results can be had right out of the box but I chose to embellish the model with the addition of Eduard’s interior and exterior PE sets as well as the Schatton gun barrels and some plumbing in the cockpit and gun pods. The Stuka was painted using White Ensign colorcoats with EagleCal decals for markings. Also, I tried Hobby Decals dry transfers for the stenciling which is something new for me. I must say I am very impressed with them. If you want something that looks painted on, nothing is better. They are very easy to use, and i loved the results.
The finished model will take up some room on your shelf, but if you’re looking for a big, ominous looking moose of a model…this is it.
Very impressive and realistic looking build. Just the right amount of weathering, not overdone, and just the right amount of paint chipping in the starboard wing walk area. A beautiful job.
That is one nice Ju 87! I am a Stuka fan you have one nice model there. I have the Airfix 1/24 Ju 87 Stuka sitting on my speaker cabinet and it is one of my favorites.
I’ve just spent a long while looking at your model and I am in awe. I would go as far as to say that its perfect. Really, that model is flawless. Absolutely beautiful finish. [tup][tup]
